SailHero!
We believe it is important to give everyone the opportunity to become acquainted with the power of sailing. For example, we are involved in the #SAILHero Er-Vaar project.
The project was set up by Windseeker Foundation and SAIL Amsterdam Foundation and gives Dutch young people aged 16 to 30 the opportunity to sail on the IRIS for 10 days free of charge.
During this trip, the young people receive Sail Training and individual and group coaching. The project was set up with the aim of helping young people gain insight into their talents so that they can take a further step in their development after the trip. The environment on a ship and at sea offers the ideal conditions to achieve this goal! We as a crew, together with the coach, guide the young people with great passion and pleasure to step out of their comfort zone and develop.
